Stuart Neilson is a statistician and author who was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome in 2009, at the age of 45. His images explore autistic portrayals and reactions to sensory stimulus and motion, particularly in public spaces, and complement his written work. His most recent publication is a chapter on sensory issues and social inclusion in the anthology “Knowing Why: Adult-Diagnosed Autistic People on Life and Autism”.
